Wrap Construction Belts

PIX High Performance Belts are available in Wrap, Raw Edge Cogged, Poly-V and in Timing Belt constructions. Enhancing its scope beyond the standard Belts, PIX has developed the Heavy Duty, High Performance Belts, Maintenance-free Muscle Series Belts in Wrap and Raw Edge Cogged constructions.
PIX Terminator Heavy-duty, High Performance Belts, Wrap Transmission Belts are available in dry-cover construction mainly for the mining application and they offer enhanced power transmission capacity up to 55% over the standard Belts. PIX-torqeuplus-XT2, heavy-duty High Performance Belts are vailable in timing construction, offering 50% to 70% enhanced power-rating over the standard HTD / STD sections of the Timing Belts.

The Poly-V Belt is a continuous Belt that is used in a drive to drive several peripheral devices such as an alternator, power steering pump, water pump, air conditioning compressor, and air pump.
The Poly-V Belt can be described as flat cord-reinforced transmission Belts with triangular-shaped ribs running lengthwise with a top angle of 40 degrees. The design of the Poly-V Belt offers better protection for all reinforcement cords and thus achieves an even load distribution. An idler pulley or a Belt tensioner is also guided by the Poly-V Belt. Poly-V Belt drive requires less space and the Belt can be placed under increased tension without stretching. The single wider Poly-V Belt is used instead of many standard Belts.
